During the January of 2026, we were working on the modifications for our Pololu devices. For mine, I decided to work on a retractable pen, and the ability to control it remotely, rather then following a set path.
For the pen, I decided to utilize a Cam and Snail follower to lift it up, and drop it on command. While useful, this had its own shortcomings in attaching it to the Pololu, and only existed as a standalone modification.

Pictured above are the initial drafts for a pen-holder that would attach to the Pololu via the existing mounting points. Below is the various prototypes of the Cam and Snail follower mechanism.
