During May, the project was drawing to a close. As a result, a lot occurred, so I will go through it quickly – I began with attempting to convert the current prototype of the casing to a Lasercut Design – however I found there were several issues preventing assembly. I attempted this once more, and while it was closer, it did not work. Unfortunately, time prevented further attempts.
Secondly, the iterative development reached its last stages – The couplings were in place, the Cams and Followers prepared, it was time to attempt to assemble everything. Unfortunately this did not go well for numerous issues, resulting in unscheduled rapid disassembly of parts of the end product. It was however very informative regarding what to do and not do in any future designs.
Finally, a lot of work was done on paperwork such as my Research Essay, and other documentation needed for submission of the project.
